Above all industries and small businesses, there has been no other industry that has been affected most by COVID-19 as the healthcare industry; this includes first responders. First responders, including police, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and healthcare workers, are undergoing intense scrutiny, especially fighting the pandemic.
These essential workers are on the front lines when responding to the call in need of the public. Being an essential worker, meaning not having the option to work from home during a plague and civil unrest, can be stressful and overwhelming for these selfless professionals. They of which also have families to protect and provide for as well.
There aren't enough words to describe how thankful we are as a community. Our community would not be safe without the dedication, hard work, and absolute passion for this incredible profession as a first responder.
