This rustic outdoor city wedding reception took place at the contemporary minimalist wedding venue Blanc located in a historic industrial neighborhood in downtown Colorado, nestled in River North Denver's Art District. Inspired by the couple's social lifestyle of eating out at local LoDo restaurants and taste sampling at RiNo breweries, this exclusive city garden wedding was designed by Florboxoxo, event coordinated by Poised Events, and photographed by Irving Photography. The two college sweethearts, Tate and Montana, selected rustic autumn season bouquets, boutonnieres, minimal ceremony arch flowers, meadow aisle flowers, and modern geometric centerpieces for their late September industrial wedding!

Rustic Wedding Flower Decor Essentials
Reviewing this special day would not be complete without featuring the bridal wedding ring showcasing a halo of brilliant diamonds with a matching platinum band for the groom. Giving a silent nod to the selected theme for a vintage rustic wedding, for the vows, a golden oak worn and woody ceremony floral arch combined wonderfully with the reception's design focus of leafy vines intertwined throughout a rustic iron gazebo.
To harmonize the look and feel of the Blanc’s industrial aesthetic of aged red cobblestone and restored blacktop pavement, our flower team strategically lined the outdoor ceremony chairs with rich and ruffled aisle flowers. To echo the rustic industrial wedding venue with the reverenced RiNo Art District, it was necessary to comprise the encompassed reception dance floor tables with geometric centerpieces highlighting textured blonde wood!

Rustic Wedding Dress and Fashion
The bride floated down the aisle in a classic Casablanca-inspired floral laced mermaid-styled wedding dress detailed with an illusion V-neckline with sheer interwoven quarter sleeves. To maintain the focal point of the bridal gown, the bridal hairstyle featured loose curls swept back into a relaxed and layered low bun, showcasing a traditional sheer hip-length veil in natural-toned makeup. The bridal party fashioned trendy V-neck lined fuzzy textured velvet silhouette styled, dusty rose rust bridesmaid's dresses. The groom and his groomsmen stepped out in black suits featuring a narrow notch lapel presenting a simple black tie with rustic wedding boutonnieres wrapped in twine. Following tradition, the flower girl petaled down the aisle fashioning a handcrafted flower crown, purple and pink blooms were perfect colors for a rustic wedding!
Rustic Wedding Entertainment and Menu
The wedding menu for the reception dinner consisted of braised chicken and roasted potatoes followed by a non-traditional twist of fruity-infused blackberry layered wedding cake. Because the majority of their guest list was nationally traveling, upon reservation check-in at the Denver Union Station’s Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, complementary shuttles were scheduled to accommodate guests with transportation to the industrious wedding venue in RiNo Denver.
Considering their Colorado destination wedding guest experience, the wedding couple prioritized creating an outdoor relaxing and intimate family gathering for their garden courtyard reception. In tune with their guests and requesting to silence phones, our clients planned an authentically connected ambiance for their wedding reception with family games such as wedding costume party accessories, classic cornhole, and life-size Jenga!
Rustic Wedding Venue Location
According to the community developing organization of River North Denver's Art District, what began as yet another inner-city abandoned factory from Colorado's historic booming industrial era, despite the economical obstacles of an urban neighborhood, under new ownership, the warehouse was renovated into a contemporary event venue and rebranded as Blanc in 2013. Now a decade later, with an outdoor fire mantle adjacent to the meditative fountained pond, the steeled door garage mirrors the original innovative space. Today, this chic warehouse for a wedding venue is known for its blank white canvas interior walls with remnants of exposed brick, and unapologetically bold cobblestoned pavement interrupted by emerging curved railroad tracks, a soft reminder of RiNo Denver's industrious past. As a Boston native, this east coast bride opted in for a trendy exclusive urban city experience for their rustic autumn wedding!
